The servo hydraulic press is durable but it is not forever broken. Due to frequent use, the servo hydraulic press may be worn and damaged. Therefore, it is necessary to do a good job of repair and maintenance of the servo hydraulic press in order to continue to ensure its performance and extend its service life. There are four common fault phenomena of servo hydraulic press: overheating, oil leakage, noise, no pressure or slow pressure.
superheating
Causes of overheating include contamination of hydraulic oil, increased pressure and friction. We only need to know that the hydraulic press should not reach temperatures above 150 degrees Celsius, and if this happens, the seal will be damaged.
Maintenance method: clean oil, cool down (install tubular oil cooler or plate heat exchanger)
Oil leakage
Oil leaks are common around hose end fittings, as well as around plungers and hydraulic lines. To prevent oil leakage, be sure to tighten all fittings and use the manufacturer's recommended hydraulic fluid.
Repair method: Identify leaking components, such as hydraulic cylinders, pumps or valves, and repair them after removal.
noise
In the case of percussion or impact noise from the hydraulic press, it may be a problem of entering the air in the fluid. In addition, component damage and lubrication failure are also common causes of abnormal noise.
Repair methods: Drain the air entering the fluid, solve the lubrication problem, replace or repair the damaged parts.
No pressure or slow pressure
No pressure or slow pressure is usually caused by dirt and leaks in the hydraulic oil.
Repair method: In order to prevent this, please check the hydraulic system for contamination and leakage.
