The system pressure of the four-column hydraulic press is manufactured to be no less than the actual pressure, which not only increases the service life of the equipment, but also protects the hydraulic components from damage. Normally, the normal pressure of a four-column hydraulic press is 25MPa. In the normal production process, the pressure of the hydraulic press shall not exceed 25MPa. Take the 315-type three-beam four-column hydraulic press we have used for a long time as an example. The working temperature is usually in the range of 30-80 degrees, the oil temperature in the hydraulic system of the four-column hydraulic press must be controlled in the range of 30-60 degrees, if the oil temperature exceeds this range, it will have a lot of adverse effects on the hydraulic system.
When the working pressure of the four-column hydraulic press is greater than 25MPa, we can control the working pressure of the four-column hydraulic press through the electric contact pressure gauge on the hydraulic system or the system regulator valve. The pressure overload of the four-column hydraulic press will cause the pressure of the equipment to rise rapidly, which will lead to the overload of the hydraulic pump and the motor, affecting its service life. The corresponding hydraulic cylinder will also be overloaded, affecting the service life of the hydraulic cylinder. If the quality of the hydraulic pipeline is not good, it will also cause the tubing to burst and leak oil, causing some failures and damaging the equipment. The pressure overload of four-column hydraulic press not only affects the performance of the equipment, but also causes certain accidents. Many large manufacturers will consider the corresponding problems at the beginning of the design and install the corresponding unloading valve. When the pressure rises suddenly, the high-pressure hydraulic oil returns to the tank through the unloading valve or stop protection device.
Since the pressure overload of the four-column hydraulic press is harmless and huge, many experienced designers have taken this into account. A unloading valve will be installed in the hydraulic system design. Therefore, when buying a four-column hydraulic press, it is not only necessary to look at the price of the equipment, but also the technical strength of the manufacturer. Especially for the four-column hydraulic press purchased by small companies, not only the quality cannot be guaranteed, but also the hydraulic system, not to mention the impact of pressure overload.
